Can’t get an erection with my girlfriend… But can when masturbating….?

Friday Jan 29, 2010

I was dating a girl for 4 months and she’d go down on me every weekend, sex occasionally. and getting erect was never an issue. we broke up and I started dating a girl who wanted to wait half a year. I was instantly bored and started masturbating. Previously, I would masturbate 2-3 times a week. And now it’s become a daily routine, and sometimes more than once in the same day. 6 months went by and my new girlfriend tried getting me hard…. it didn’t work. we waited another 2 months, and she tried again (2 weeks ago), once again, didn’t work. The last time we tried was last night, she was completely naked and tried getting me hard by sucking on my penis. It still would not get me going. I’ve done a lot of research and it almost seems like the actual issue is that my excessive masturbation now for 8 months has lead me to a temporary dysfunction. I need it gone fast. I’m comiting to myself that I never will mastubate again, but if i go from today (Monday), to saturday (next time we hangout), will I be able to get hard once again. What is my issue? How do I fix it? I’m so confused with what’s going on. I don’t think I have actual erectile dysfunction, but I do believe the excessive masturbation has screwed up the way my hormones work and what turns me on. please help. i need this gone as soon as friggen possible.

It is now at this point anxiety. since yu have had a variety of faliure, you are now terrified of another flop and that is what will happen.

excessive masturbation is not the culprit, but how you feel about her and your images of yruself.

Let me make a tiny suggestion. Smoke a bit of pot before you have sex. It will take the edge off and relax you enough to have the sex

I’m a 19 year old man and I often wake up with erections. Is this a sign of Erectile dysfunction?

Sunday Jan 24, 2010

I’m not talking about when I have wet dreams, (I don’t get them anymore). But I often wake up with an erection, and sometimes it doesn’t go down for about 5 minutes.

Is this a sign of erectile dysfunction?

Should I be worried about this?

Thank you.

No. I think most guys do. My boyfriend and all my male friends do, as far as I’m aware it’s quite normal. I think it’s something to do with your blood flow at night or something.

It’s a morning glory lol.

Does this mean erectile dysfunction was psychological?

Saturday Jan 23, 2010

I had trouble getting an erection for awhile but gave masturbating a break for awhile and last night I was able to get an erection 5 times just by looking at a picture of a girl in a bathing suit. Does this mean I do not have erectile dysfunction and if I did the problem was not related to anything medical?

Guess that you have been overdoing your masturbating a lot.
That can cause ED,You don’t get exited any more.
You solved it your self
Good on you

Post SSRI/ PSSD–Help *zoloft*?

Thursday Jan 14, 2010

Hey i’m 18 year old male, goes to the gym, takes a daily vitamin…great shape etc…

I been taking zoloft 50 mg for 2.5 years, and about 6 + weeks ago I Stopped the medicine, I had no side effects noticeable to myself or anyone.

However during the medicine I had decreased sex drive, couldn’t maintain an erection or was hard even getting one. I know this is a common side effect. But it’s been 6 weeks off the medicine and I still have the erectile dysfunction part. I Assume my sex drive is back (it’s been a while though).

I asked my psychiatrist and urologist at the 3rd week point and they said usually it takes like 1 week for the medicine to be cleared from your system. And farther research showed many people have post ssri or basically sexual side effects continue for a long time after stopping.

So my doctors told me to wait 2 months then see them again, basically just wait an indefinite amount of time and hopefully things will get better.

Some people reported they had the condition for 10+ years /permanent damage. that freaked me out and created doubt in my mind.

MY QUESTION: Considering I was on it for 2.5 years, and been off for 6-7 weeks, does anyone have a clue how much longer I have to wait to get rid of the erectile dysfunction?

Or does anyone know a good medicine that’s not like the very expensive viagra but does similar stuff or even fixes you over time permanently. If medicine could do this to me , then some medicine should be able to fix it.

I’ll continue to wait indefinitely, but anyone have suggestions? Thanks!
Well I don’t want to have to inject my penis everytime I want to have sex like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-6pmsVOe3g&feature=PlayList&p=40811DBDB611EBFE&index=3

Some people said take like viprx or other herbal stuff but I dunno if it’s a scam. Viagra is like 10-20 bucks a pill

And is there some sort of formula of waiting, so if i took it 2.5 years, if you don’t get your stuff back after a week of stopping, you gotta wait max 2.5 months? Or it doesn’t work like that?

There’s nothing generic like Viagra. (YET) You’ll be waiting until the patent wears off. Good luck. I’m still on SSRIs and still have ejaculatory problems.

EDIT: I wouldn’t use that herbal stuff unless my doctor recommended it. It’s under the
"won’t help, might hurt" category.

Problems during sex.?

Sunday Jan 10, 2010

I’m completely lost on what the main problem is and how to treat this, but here’s what’s going on:

-I’m either extremely hard or I can’t get it up.

-90% of the time when I put on a condom (Ultra-thin, fyi) I lose my erection

-I occasionally have problems with cumming too early (for lack of a better description.. it’s more like.. I can’t control how long I last, unless I stop in the middle of sex for a minute whenever I feel myself getting close.. however stupid that may sound)

-I sometimes lose my erection in the middle of sex.

I believe that’s it, heh. I don’t know if it’s a mix of slight cases of Erectile Dysfunction or Premature Ejaculation or whatever, but I’d like to "fix" it asap. So any suggestions would be really appreciated.

just keep thinking you’re getting lucky and you’ll stay hard

Can a slap to the crotch cause Erectile Dysfunction?

Sunday Jan 10, 2010

My friend and I were joking around and he gave me a backhanded slap in the crotch, should I be worried about erectile dysfunction or not?

NO it cannot cause erectile dysfunction, but can if it was very hard cause some damage (very slight chance). There is no need to worry. By now you would certainly have had an erection. If that is so you are OK. If not see if you can get it worked up. Masturbate and check if you semen is OK. I am quite sure all will be fine. If not see a doctor.

How should I fix this problem?

Wednesday Jan 6, 2010

I’m 17 years old. Yesterday my ex-girlfriend who is dating someone else came over. After resisting the urge to kiss her I finally kissed her which led to having sex. All through the day she had been teasing me and giving me erections, (now I don’t remember if they went away fast or not at the time), but when it came to having sex, I couldn’t keep a boner for my life. Now my parents were upstairs, I’ve never had sex with them home before. She said I could of just been nervous, but today when I was alone I tried masturbating and though I could get a boner I couldn’t keep it if I stopped stroking. Now I don’t drink alcohol and I don’t do drugs, not a lot anyways. I’ve never had this problem before that I can recall. Does anyone have any ideas what it could possibly be? Erectile Dysfunction was suggested by my ex, but I honestly have no clue. Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions on what I should do or try in order to fix it. Thank you for your time.
the ****** is Erection

Don’t freak out. As long as you’re still experiencing morning stiffness, physiologically you’re probably fine. This kind of thing happens to most men at some point, and it’s usually a reaction to emotional or psychological stress. Once you get a handle on your head upstairs, you’re head downstairs will cooperate again. If this persists for more than a couple of weeks, go talk to your doctor. You can make the appointment yourself because you’re old enough to accidentally be a parent, right? Your doctor can help you with the problem whether it’s psychological or physiological. Also, keep buying the latex condoms and using them every time.

What are the names of sexual enhancement drugs for men?

Sunday Jan 3, 2010

Viagra, Cialis, Levitra – pills for Erectile Dysfunction Treatment. Viagra, Levitra and Cialis work in much the same way. Chemically known as phosphodiesterase inhibitors, these drugs enhance the effects of nitric oxide, a chemical messenger that relaxes smooth muscles in the penis. This increases the amount of blood and allows a natural sequence to occur — an erection in response to sexual stimulation. These medications don’t automatically produce an erection. Instead they allow an erection to occur after physical and psychological stimulation. Many men experience improvement in erectile function after taking these medications regardless of the cause of their impotence.
Find out which of Viagra Cialis or Levitra products works the best for you!

Psycogenic Erectile Dysfunction Treatment?

Sunday Jan 3, 2010

Is psycogenic erectile dysfunction 100% treatable? And what does the treatment include? I am 22 and i am having so much trouble that i think the guy must be a wizard to "fix" me.
It is definately psycogenic,I firstly went to a urologist. I lose erection during sex or don’t get one before sex. When I masturbate it is OK

dude what is the actual problem, are u not getting an erection altogether or just not able to do it when needed? Try the paper test get some tissue paper make a small strip long enough to go around ur soft penis have the ends snuggly taped then go to sleep with briefs. (so the paper doesnt tear accidently) if in the morning the paper is torn. ur getting errections and is a mental issue. then u would probably be refered to sex therapy or a psychologist that specializes in the area.
