zoloft for 3 years it has given me Erectile dysfunction and a decrease in my libido.
My doctors told me to just keep waiting indefinitely and maybe my function would return. But it feels hopeless.
It’s been 2 months being off the 50 mg of the medicine and I still have these conditions, I know it’s called Post SRRI or PSSD. And Prior to the zoloft, I had no problem with E.D. or libido.

There is no dream medicine. I reckon if only you could stop worrying about it now it will start to improve. Try and be relaxed, eat properly – you shouldn’t need extra vitamins unless your doctor advises it. You say you are in good shape etc. Find an absorbing hobby, forget the ED for a bit.

He has seen doctors and everything is fine – it’s psychological. He’s not gay, not cheating. He has Erectile Dysfunction (pills haven’t helped). We had some sex early in the marriage but it was infrequent. Now it’s about ONCE PER YEAR and only if I initiate. I am not even sure I was "in love" with him when we married. I was VERY overweight at the time and felt that was the best I could do. I’ve since had gastric bypass and look and feel good. I’m 37 years old. If I want to have children time is running out. I fear that if I end this marriage I will take a serious risk at not being able to have children. I feel guilty about potentially leaving him because he’s such a good, kind person…but on the other hand this isn’t a "normal" marriage. He says he wants to fix this and sees the therapist, but nothing changes. I worry that I won’t be able to find someone else that is as wonderful as him.
That’s quite a dilemma. Ask yourself:
-do I want this lifestyle for the rest of my life?
-do I want him to be the father of my children?
-does *he* even want to be a dad?

Personally, I think that the other stuff – the day-to-day stuff – is more important as long as he’s still affectionate (hugs, kisses, touches). But that’s something only you can decide. Passion is important, but the friendship and intimacy (not necessarily sex!!) are more important (to me, at least).
If you are very unhappy with your marriage, then you really need to re-think the relationship. But if he is that wonderful, then stay. I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to worry about the biological clock. Adoption is a great option – no matter what decision you make about your husband. Yet for some reason, it doesn’t seem to be a problem when i am Masturbating (maybe 5% of the time having trouble).
I am wondering if looking at porn since i was in puberty, and being in my early 20’s now, has caused problems with having actual sex. It sounds crazy, but is it possible that i am becomming less aroused by actual sex, and more aroused by Pornographic images?
Is this something that is common? Is it a mental or physcological problem and something that will just take time? If not, can it be fixed? I would prefer to not have to take pills because i feel I am too young to be taking Viagra and such.
Any other insights to ED would also help.
