Bathtubs shown in the "sexual enhancement" commercials?
Posted by admin | Under sexual enhancement Sunday Jan 31, 2010I cannot connect why a couple is shown in 2 different bathtubs in the middle of a forest/woods/field, etc. What is this symbolizing, because I’m just not getting it.
I don’t think anyone else gets it either. Really bizarre.





Yeah I know what you mean, I only know about 3 or 4 people that have their bathtubs outside. However, you have to admit that the couple was very clean.

According to news articles, by using pastel colors and the soft-focus image of a man and a woman soaking in side-by-side claw-foot tubs (on the beach, in a vineyard, on a mountaintop), the ads are meant to set Cialis apart from its competition. It’s a warmer, softer, unhurried sort of image. (Search for more about a competing ad campaign.)
But why bathtubs? We had to make a phone call:
"The ads were never meant to be about the bathtubs, but to focus on the intimacy between the couple," says Keri McGrath, a spokeswoman for Cialis. "The bathtubs were just a visually interesting way to accomplish that."

The couples are shown in two different bathtubs in the sexual enhancement commercials for "C" and the reason is that the advertising is to get the message across that you can have sex when both are ready and when they are in the bathtubs they are not ready yet, but when they get out of the bathtubs after they are clean they are ready to have sex after the man has taken "C". The man can have sex at any time within the next 36 hours as that is how long "C" will still be effective according to the advertising, although it won’t be effective for some for that long, but rather will be for about 24 hours. The bathtubs are to show cleanliness, peaceful surroundings and future readiness to have sex. The commercial is effective as people such as yourself recall the commercial and that is the intent of the advertisers. They want people to recall the two separate bathtubs and associate them with "C" and buy "C".
