Medicine to increase Libido and get rid of E.D.?

Saturday Jan 23, 2010

Hey, I’m 18 and in great shape/exercise/take vitamins, However I was on
zoloft for 3 years it has given me Erectile dysfunction and a decrease in my libido.

My doctors told me to just keep waiting indefinitely and maybe my function would return. But it feels hopeless.

It’s been 2 months being off the 50 mg of the medicine and I still have these conditions, I know it’s called Post SRRI or PSSD. And Prior to the zoloft, I had no problem with E.D. or libido.

I was curious am I going to need to take a viagra type medicine or inject myself every time I want to have sex? Or is there a legit medicine (not some fake herbal thing etc) that you can take to increase those, whether it be a daily prescription or whatever?
-It can be herbal just I need proof that it works and isn’t a scam or doesn’t have bad side effects.
-reasonable price, trusted and can get without doctors permission

Because Viagra is super expensive, Injections sound like a turn off and will scare away the girl. I was hoping maybe my dream medicine to fix
me I’d only need to take for a year tops or month to ignite my drive back forever or at least until old age and reverse this awful side effect zoloft gave me.

Any suggestions on legit, non-expensive, no injection medicine that treats E.D. and low libido and potentially can cure/fix those for years?
Well what are the side effects of viprx? And where can I find a legit site, how long do u take it for? and will i need to take it forever or only a little bit o time to ignite my system back?

Worrying about ED is counter productive.
There is no dream medicine. I reckon if only you could stop worrying about it now it will start to improve. Try and be relaxed, eat properly – you shouldn’t need extra vitamins unless your doctor advises it. You say you are in good shape etc. Find an absorbing hobby, forget the ED for a bit.
Anxiety is a contributory cause for your problem.

New To Sex And Needing Serious Advice?

Friday Jan 22, 2010

Hey Guys, I am a pretty average 17 year old male, in 5′11" tall, 150lbs with an athletic build. I have been with my girlfriend for well over 8 months now and have been sexually active right from the outset (We are each others first and at this stage, only, sexual partners as well).
However, only recently we have actually tried to have intercourse and it is proving to be quite difficult. When I go to insert my penis inside her, i ejaculate (even without orgasm – an extra slap in the face) almost instantly, definitely within the first five seconds.

As you can probably understand, this is a very frustrating and embarrassing thing to happen. Thankfully my girlfriend is very patient and understanding about this problem but deep down i feel very ashamed at my inability to show her the time i think she deserves. I really do love her with all my heart and i know she feels the same in return. I have no troubles with pleasing her with my fingers and through oral sex but I know that she wishes to take it to the next level, as do I.

It should be noted that from hand jobs, blow jobs and through masturbation, it takes me between 10 and 20 minutes to climax, so why is it that when we try to have sex, i only last a few seconds?
Do I have erectile dysfunction? premature ejaculation? How normal is this? And finally, is there any way i can fix this problem?

I would appreciate only serious advice as this is quite a worrying issue, and because I am SURE that i will get at least ONE reply urging me to use protection; We are using condoms and she is on the pill.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thankyou very much :)

have you tried using bottle rockets? it can really help.

are ssri’s worth it?

Sunday Jan 17, 2010

well i have depression, adhd, and i have a strong feeling that i have social anxiety as well. currently i am taking strattera but not anti-depressants. what i am wondering is are ssri’s really worth it with all the possible side effects? i am slightly freaked out by the whole list of side effects.
* nausea
* drowsiness or somnolence
* headache
* clenching of teeth
* extremely vivid and strange dreams
* dizziness
* changes in appetite
* weight loss/gain (measured by a change in bodyweight of 7 pounds)
* may result in a double risk of bone fractures and injuries
* changes in sexual behaviour (see the next section)
* increased feelings of depression and anxiety (which may sometimes provoke panic attacks)
* tremors
* autonomic dysfunction including orthostatic hypotension, increased or reduced sweating
* akathisia
* liver or renal impairment
* suicidal ideation (thoughts of suicide)
what are your experiences with ssri’s and what are your feelings on them? i dont want to get on large amounts of medications just to fix the side effects of other medications.im kind of freaked out by the concept of the issues with erectile dysfunction and anorgasm seeing as that i have QUITE a few years ahead of me. i want to help my depression and social anxiety but i don’t want to make my situation worse. what are your opinions on these things?

While I am neither a pharmacist, nor Dr, I am a patient who takes an SSRI, have taken it successfully for years. Your body is yours and will act and react in your own way. All I can do is to go through this list and make note of my own experience with my medication.
Nausea — only in the first week
drowsiness — I need a nap (not sure if its the drug or my body)
change in appetite — some desire to eat (before no interest)
weight loss/gain — some gain, but weight stays stable
Change in sexual behavior — less desire
(decrease in anxiety, depression, and anxiety attacks)
(thoughts of suicide stopped when taking drug)

My opinion — If it were not for the SSRI I’m taking, I would not be alive today. My depression is completely under control, and my health is predictable. My outlook and hope in life are great. I am able to participate in relationship with friends and family. My creativity has returned. Several people have come up to me and said "I can see a difference in you – you’re not disabled any more"

My Dr has told me that the larger portion of people taking anti-depressants only do so for a short period of time (less than a year or 2). Only some of us have had permanent changes in brain function/chemistry requiring a lifetime of dependence on medication to replace what our body does not make any more, in order to function, participating in life somewhere near a normal level.
So, just because you have the need for an antidepressant now, does not mean you will still need it years from now.

Your Dr’s goal for you should be to use medication sparingly.
In the areas where you are not able to function – to address those with the least medication possible to gain the largest of effect toward returning you to a normal level of functioning.

Do not discount the use of Counseling / Therapy. Use of medication is often used to contain symptoms while in therapy as you learn new ways to handle your life that will minimize or eliminate your symptoms — ending your need for the medication.

There is hope in the future. Get your depression under control first – then work on other areas – you’ll find your overall health will improve. Go to therapy and it is more of a permanent change in a positive direction.

Post SSRI/ PSSD–Help *zoloft*?

Thursday Jan 14, 2010

Hey i’m 18 year old male, goes to the gym, takes a daily vitamin…great shape etc…

I been taking zoloft 50 mg for 2.5 years, and about 6 + weeks ago I Stopped the medicine, I had no side effects noticeable to myself or anyone.

However during the medicine I had decreased sex drive, couldn’t maintain an erection or was hard even getting one. I know this is a common side effect. But it’s been 6 weeks off the medicine and I still have the erectile dysfunction part. I Assume my sex drive is back (it’s been a while though).

I asked my psychiatrist and urologist at the 3rd week point and they said usually it takes like 1 week for the medicine to be cleared from your system. And farther research showed many people have post ssri or basically sexual side effects continue for a long time after stopping.

So my doctors told me to wait 2 months then see them again, basically just wait an indefinite amount of time and hopefully things will get better.

Some people reported they had the condition for 10+ years /permanent damage. that freaked me out and created doubt in my mind.

MY QUESTION: Considering I was on it for 2.5 years, and been off for 6-7 weeks, does anyone have a clue how much longer I have to wait to get rid of the erectile dysfunction?

Or does anyone know a good medicine that’s not like the very expensive viagra but does similar stuff or even fixes you over time permanently. If medicine could do this to me , then some medicine should be able to fix it.

I’ll continue to wait indefinitely, but anyone have suggestions? Thanks!
Well I don’t want to have to inject my penis everytime I want to have sex like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-6pmsVOe3g&feature=PlayList&p=40811DBDB611EBFE&index=3

Some people said take like viprx or other herbal stuff but I dunno if it’s a scam. Viagra is like 10-20 bucks a pill

And is there some sort of formula of waiting, so if i took it 2.5 years, if you don’t get your stuff back after a week of stopping, you gotta wait max 2.5 months? Or it doesn’t work like that?

There’s nothing generic like Viagra. (YET) You’ll be waiting until the patent wears off. Good luck. I’m still on SSRIs and still have ejaculatory problems.

EDIT: I wouldn’t use that herbal stuff unless my doctor recommended it. It’s under the
"won’t help, might hurt" category.

Problems during sex.?

Sunday Jan 10, 2010

I’m completely lost on what the main problem is and how to treat this, but here’s what’s going on:

-I’m either extremely hard or I can’t get it up.

-90% of the time when I put on a condom (Ultra-thin, fyi) I lose my erection

-I occasionally have problems with cumming too early (for lack of a better description.. it’s more like.. I can’t control how long I last, unless I stop in the middle of sex for a minute whenever I feel myself getting close.. however stupid that may sound)

-I sometimes lose my erection in the middle of sex.

I believe that’s it, heh. I don’t know if it’s a mix of slight cases of Erectile Dysfunction or Premature Ejaculation or whatever, but I’d like to "fix" it asap. So any suggestions would be really appreciated.

just keep thinking you’re getting lucky and you’ll stay hard

Wooing an ex girlfriend, again.?

Saturday Jan 9, 2010

My girfriend and I dated for a year and a half. I had some minor health issues and had my first erectile dysfunction. Clingy kids and my schedule vs hers wasn’t helping things much, either. She broke up with me as her frustrations of my "lack of interest" in her. When as I see it the stuff she wanted most was sexual reassurance…I know I can take care of business with her on my schedule, everyday. But into late evening it is not so easy. (Testosterone is highest in morning when waking and wanes until one sleeps again).

Our mental and spiritual bond is top notch.

She gets two nights a week without her children. She works in many remote locations (peoples homes).

What would be some move or action I could perform to get her to know my attitude has shifted so much as to not hurt her a second time.

Please, any ideas for romance appreciated. I wish I had the money for a ring right now.

I need to woo this girl right back to wanting me back. She admits she likes my parts, but the whole doesn’t add up. This is where I changed. I was busy focusing too much on fixing my issues and not "us." Lost forty lbs, have more energy, awake longer, etc.

Help please, I want some female input.

Arrange an accidental meeting and let her see your fine self looking how you do now. Your probablly glowing and this will make her want you back

How should I fix this problem?

Wednesday Jan 6, 2010

I’m 17 years old. Yesterday my ex-girlfriend who is dating someone else came over. After resisting the urge to kiss her I finally kissed her which led to having sex. All through the day she had been teasing me and giving me erections, (now I don’t remember if they went away fast or not at the time), but when it came to having sex, I couldn’t keep a boner for my life. Now my parents were upstairs, I’ve never had sex with them home before. She said I could of just been nervous, but today when I was alone I tried masturbating and though I could get a boner I couldn’t keep it if I stopped stroking. Now I don’t drink alcohol and I don’t do drugs, not a lot anyways. I’ve never had this problem before that I can recall. Does anyone have any ideas what it could possibly be? Erectile Dysfunction was suggested by my ex, but I honestly have no clue. Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions on what I should do or try in order to fix it. Thank you for your time.
the ****** is Erection

Don’t freak out. As long as you’re still experiencing morning stiffness, physiologically you’re probably fine. This kind of thing happens to most men at some point, and it’s usually a reaction to emotional or psychological stress. Once you get a handle on your head upstairs, you’re head downstairs will cooperate again. If this persists for more than a couple of weeks, go talk to your doctor. You can make the appointment yourself because you’re old enough to accidentally be a parent, right? Your doctor can help you with the problem whether it’s psychological or physiological. Also, keep buying the latex condoms and using them every time.

Psycogenic Erectile Dysfunction Treatment?

Sunday Jan 3, 2010

Is psycogenic erectile dysfunction 100% treatable? And what does the treatment include? I am 22 and i am having so much trouble that i think the guy must be a wizard to "fix" me.
It is definately psycogenic,I firstly went to a urologist. I lose erection during sex or don’t get one before sex.When I masturbate it is OK

dude what is the actual problem, are u not getting an erection altogether or just not able to do it when needed? Try the paper test get some tissue paper make a small strip long enough to go around ur soft penis have the ends snuggly taped then go to sleep with briefs. (so the paper doesnt tear accidently) if in the morning the paper is torn. ur getting errections and is a mental issue. then u would probably be refered to sex therapy or a psychologist that specializes in the area.
